Fun for $1
Sparklers. That has been the nightly ritual these days. Mr.Blab came home with a pack of them one day and then the kids went wild and then of course he went and bought half the store stock. At least they are not expensive.

2am before Christmas
We just finished working on the kids presents. Yawn.
I decided in a moment of mad exhilaration to make the little ones a tipi (teepee). And then found some beautiful organza on sale and later on planned some puffy skirts as well.

The tree back there

Absolute potato butteriness
I love potatoes.
Every kind of potato you have, I will eat it – fried, boiled, smashed, mashed, baked (not faked)…

Where there is water, there is fun
Here is a recipe for a completely uneventful and wonderfully non productive day.
Grab some kids, hopefully your own, but borrowing some is acceptable. Or better yet, mix them up and get the best of both worlds.
Provide them with a river.
And a jetty if at all possible.
